It's a parking spot near the road but in the night basically no traffic (at least in october). Walking routes start from here and you have a drinking water source directly nearby! We stayed here one night without problems. In the morning we could watch the sunrise above the clouds! Only thing is that you have to pay a fee to pass the road that leads to the spot. If you wanna hike there anyway it's worth the fee.
