Seemingly an abandoned camper stop near the sports ground adjacent to dry river bed. Was a headache to get to from the south as there is a railway bridge marked at 2.4m. (probably paid for by the campsite nearby). Actually I think it's about 4m and we got through easy in our coachbuilt 2.9m. Approach from taormina is easier, turn right across defunct level crossing 3km after main alcantara and 500m before conad (you can turn in the cast park!) Beautiful setting in valley among hilltop towns and view of Etna. Town has its own lovely unpublished gorge walk around the ruins. Worth the effort but ensure fridge stocked ready for when you get there!
