At the edge of the Alcantara river, a superb view of "the giant" Etna, but also the small extinct volcano "Vulcaneto" (which can be toured the crater by a nice trail). It is possible to take a dip when you are not very cold! disused railway track ... A little paradise! Arriving from Villafranca, just after the bridge that crosses the Alcantara before Mojo d'Alcantara, take a small path to the right that ends untarred, but passable to the end (about 800m): small parking area for 1 campsite -car (easy turning over)
