Teggiano is a beautiful town to visit, with characteristic squares and alleys, full of monuments and churches dating from the 13th to the 19th century. I asked the traffic police commander where we could safely stop and spend the night, and he kindly recommended Piazza IV Novembre, at the highest and most panoramic point in town. Access is via a narrow street in the center; with a little caution, you can pass without risking taking away any overhanging balconies. It is not recommended for campervans with a cab. Alternatively, you can park in the small parking lot (1/3 spaces on a slope) located on the last hairpin bend before entering the central square facing the Macchiaroli Castle, a road coming from the "Pomponio Lieto" High School. Given its history and the kindness of its people, it is a place worth visiting and experiencing for more than just a stopover. Highly recommended!
