There are a few picnic areas in the area, and there is a security guard at the entrance who opens the barrier for you. We were there on a Sunday evening and the place was initially full of cars of locals who were spending their Sunday there with their children. When it got darker, the place was empty and we spent a very quiet night with the sound of the river.
