Several picnic tables and fire spots with clean running water. Go to the refuge a little further on. The access road crosses the dam and continues on a dirt road in the woods, VERY rough and with low trees; however accessible from ordinary cars with due caution. Challenging (almost impossible) for campers if not 4x4.
