Stunning, off the beaten track spot - takes a winding road to get there and a treacherous 5min drive on the the other side -uneven road, pot holes, damaged road - but we did it in a medium wheel base, high top VW crafter. But it’s so worth it. Right before the area with picnic tables (and little playground) there is a bay from which you can see on one side the snowy mountains and on the other side the Adriatic Sea - Abruzzo in a nutshell. It’s secluded, hard to get, off the main roads, perfect for a peaceful overnight stay with incredible views to wake up to. Not a soul around, no amenities, just a secluded park up and picnic benches. Relatively good 4/5G signal.
