Parking lot at the top of the Pragelpass. 1500m. Very nice location, narrow pass road. Saturday and Sunday the road may only be used from the Schwyz side. Can only be driven on up to 3.5 t. The following traffic restrictions apply to the entire Pragelpass road: 1. Driving ban for company cars over 3.5 t total weight and for minibuses over 14 seats. 2. Driving ban for trucks over 3.5 t total weight, except for agricultural and forestry traffic. 3. Driving ban for trailers, except for agricultural and forestry traffic. 4. Driving ban for military vehicles over 12 t total weight. 5. On Saturdays and Sundays there is a ban on motor vehicles and motorcycles, 5.5 km after the pass (canton border SZ / GL to Richisau, approx. 2 km). No overnight stay as it’s in a protected area (Federal Hunting Ban area).
