Medium-sized parking lot, which is on a small and therefore quieter street. I would say it's the perfect balance between being remote enough that no one cares if you spend the night in your caravan and being inhabited enough that you feel very safe. We were in the parking lot with 2 other motorhomes, so we had no concerns. We chose the parking lot so that we could get to the ferry early the next morning. It wasn't a problem, just 10-15 minutes through the city to the ferry from the parking lot.
