The campsite has been under new management since May 1, 2023! Pitch only available via the gletscherdorf.ch booking platform. Arrival is only possible from the east via the Mettenbergstrasse! GPS 46.621734, 8.047140 The campsite is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most spectacular high mountain landscapes in the world at 1000 meters above sea level, framed by the 4000m peaks Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn, Grosses Fiescherhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as the largest and longest glacier in the Alps, the Aletsch Glacier. The campsite is not subject to any height restrictions, the pitches are sometimes up to 10 meters high and are located on slightly uneven grassy terrain, right next to the "Schwarze Lütschine" river. Free, clean toilets/showers and WiFi are available for camp guests. Benefits of the guest card: Free use of the ski bus/local bus, EKI Grindelwald exchange office, library, cross-country ski trail. There is a bus stop right next to the campsite. The friendly and attentive staff welcomes everyone.
