It's the country I live in. A place I recommend to everyone. Due to the morphology of the place, the terrain is sloping. This is the only critical issue, because then the positive aspects are many. To the side is a large playground and a square used for games and during the Spring Festival held in April, a tent is set up for convivial events and concerts. The town is called Santa Maria in Stelle and is of ancient Roman origin. The Pantheon still exists (and is a tourist attraction of enormous historical and cultural interest), an underground apogee dedicated to the water nymphs, which culminates in a domed apse frescoed with drawings of the time. To visit it you need an appointment previously made in agreement with the town parish priest, who acts as Cicero, as it is located and extended under the town church. Another point of interest, starting from the left of the church (where I live) starts a dirt path called "PICCOLO STELVIO". A tortuous but fascinating uphill route from which you can enjoy an excellent view of the valley. Suitable for walking or mountain biking. Nearby (about 3 km) is the renowned SALVAGNO oil mill where it will be possible to purchase an excellent extra virgin olive oil, produced with local olives. Ultimately, a healthy place on the slopes of the hill immersed in the greenery of nature.
