Parking in the hinterland near Jesolo, a few kilometers from the highway between Venice and Trieste. There is a restaurant/trattoria with a bar here. Open from 8:00 a.m. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Cappuccino and fresh cornettos/croissants were very welcome, even though we had enjoyed tortellini in Gorgonzola cream, spaghetti carbonara, and a Bistecca Fiorentina there the night before. Dogs are welcome. There is a small children's playground and a small soccer field (where our dogs could safely run around and recover from the long drive). Extensive walking paths along the canal begin right here. We spent a quiet and safe night. Several level gravel parking spaces are available along the sports field or in the large area of the trattoria (if you visit). The large garbage cans for waste disposal in front of the sports complex are very convenient. There are two entrances. Directly from Via Posteselle over a bridge (only recommended for vans up to 2.10 m wide) or comfortably via a paved and immaculate gravel road if you drive along Via Trinchet in the town of Ca Fornera and turn onto Via Fornera. (This is the paved road that leads directly to the parking lot.) Recommended for anyone who enjoys good food, loves nature, or is traveling with children and/or dogs, or wants to spend a safe and peaceful night. For us, it was the last stop on the way back from Sicily and thus a successful conclusion to a three-month journey through beautiful Italy.
