Large car park under the trees at the top of Mottarone, intended for access to summer tobogganing (5-minute climb on foot) and surrounding walks. Several places allow you to be flat. Overlooks a classy restaurant (which has its own private car park below). Quite full during the day but empties at the end of the day, apart from a few customers from the restaurant. At the bottom of the parking lot we were very quiet. Passage of the boss of the restaurant and the civil protection who greeted us, we weren't visibly bothered! Trash cans and pretty viewpoints nearby! Pay attention to the road to (or to) Stresa which is toll!
