A wonderful piece of earth, or rather rock? surrounded by mountains by a small lake. Pure peace, apart from a stream of meltwater that is still rushing in mid-September. The access is very easy to drive from the pass, but you should have a 4x4 as it is only loose, coarse gravel. Access is only possible when the Gavia Pass (2618 m) is also open.
