A fairly flat dirt clearing. A stream flows alongside, and the noise can be loud, but it didn't bother us too much. There's a toll road, with a daily ticket costing €3 for cars and €5 for campers, payable at the clearly marked kiosk. Late in the evening, a few cars still descend from the two restaurants on the Avaro plains; in the morning, the first hikers begin to arrive.
