There are several possible spots in this area. One is the main parking by the entrance to the lake, where a Slovenian van was parked overnight. But there’s lots of cars coming and going with hikers going up the mountain, people going to fish etc. We spent the night at a different large paved area but a huge log truck came at 5am to turn around in there and possibly we were in the way. This spot is a little smaller so maybe the trucks won’t use it. It’s hidden and out of the way, super quiet with just birds and a river in the background. Maybe on hot summer days it would be busy with people visiting the lake. Of course as with all Slovenia it’s technically forbidden but it’s so out of the way that I wasn’t too worried about being here.
