Free parking behind restaurants where locals park, we spent 2 nights there without any problem in a small van, maybe too narrow for a big camper. There are trash cans at the entrance, the city center is about 15 minutes walk along the harbor. Going along the other side (you have to cross a park), you come across a very pleasant beach with showers and rocks to jump off.
