Free parking on the road side above the old town. Just before and after a bus stop in the bus lay-by so make sure you don’t block it. We parked here as we had seen locals also parked. Our van is a 6meters long and 2.5 wide and we parked fine. The spaces vary as it does narrow. Get here early if you need a larger space we arrived 8.45am and where lucky to get a spot. Steps to the town are opposite as seen in picture where there is a break in the rails near the blue car. Old town is approximately 30 minutes down steps then a steep winding road so either be prepared for the walk back up or as we saw others do get a taxi back ?
