Grassy and gravel area with a picnic table and fountain along the river, partly shaded at the starting point of many hikes. No restrictions, very quiet night, a few joggers and walkers in the morning (and also the church bells at 7 a.m.). Probably not usable in winter. Access from the west only (no vehicles allowed sign on the east side).
