Just after passing the summit of the col de l'izoard, you will find, going down towards Briançon, a small car park on the side of the road. Less crowded than at the top but the view is just as breathtaking. 2 places possible. The Napoleon refuge is just below if you want to drink a little coffee on the terrace. Little traffic after 8 p.m. Resumption of passages around 8 a.m. A beautiful night at 2100m altitude.
