Free parking in Rome, quiet neighborhood. It's not easy, if not impossible, to find a space during the day, but it's completely free from around 8 PM (in February). There are streetlights and security guards watching over the entrance to the Rome bus station; that doesn't mean they're watching your vehicle, but I imagine it must deter some people.
